For the past 17 years, this evening event has celebrated light to herald the start of the Christmas festivities.
Concerts, spectacular shows, musical parades, illuminated facades: a magical evening dedicated to light, to be enjoyed with family or friends in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
2025 programme:
5.30pm: distribution of lanterns for the Festival of Lights and tasting of hot chocolate, mulled wine and roasted chestnuts. Meanwhile, listen to the voices of the Xmas Darlings, who will transport you with a modern and festive Christmas concert. Each song becomes an invitation to celebrate, whether it's Jingle Bells, Vive le Vent or Petit Papa Noël, transformed into dynamic pieces that will get your guests dancing and fill this events with warmth and energy (Place Vieille).
6.30pm: departure of the musical light parade
6.45pm: Christmas decoration lighting ceremony by the Mayor (in front of the Town Hall)
7pm: time for the show ‘Groom service!’ by the Karnavires company, in which three hotel bellboys prepare for the arrival of guests. They rush around to get their work done... but... that's without counting on their good humour and their blunders, which will turn this place into a real commotion combining theatre, music and, above all, fireworks and pyrotechnics!
