These days offer you the opportunity to discover the heritage of the municipality through visits, workshops and hikes.
To mark European Heritage Days 2026, and as part of the theme ‘Heritage in Danger’, Grimaud is offering two highlights to discover its heritage from a new angle.
Younger visitors are invited to take part in the ‘Buried Secrets of the Castle’ workshops, a fun and interactive exploration that reveals the hidden history of Grimaud Castle.
The workshops will take place on Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the heritage museum.
Aimed at sporty visitors, the ‘Heritage in Danger’ hike offers an immersion into the heart of the Sentier du Pont des Fées, an iconic local heritage site.
Throughout the hike, participants will learn about its history, its fragility and the challenges involved in preserving it. Practical information: bring walking shoes, a bottle of water and sun protection.
The hikes will take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00 a.m., departing from the Saint-Roch car park.
Organised by the Culture and Heritage Department of Grimaud Town Hall.
