Provence is a land of traditions, and Grimaud is no exception! Every year in mid-August, Grimaud is in a festive mood!
The origins of this festival go back centuries. Initially a religious festival, based on the celebrations dedicated to the Virgin Mary on 15 August, it was also the village festival, marked in the Middle Ages by a large agricultural fair in the grounds of the Chapelle Notre Dame de la Queste. Farmers and merchants came from all over the Gulf to buy and sell a wide range...Provence is a land of traditions, and Grimaud is no exception! Every year in mid-August, Grimaud is in a festive mood!

It was also a time for festivities, with music and dancing, which have remained deeply rooted in the hearts of the local people. That's why today, from the land to the sea, this village festival is perpetuated by celebrating tradition, whether religious with masses and processions, festive with balls, shows and fireworks, or culinary with the gourmet moment at La Queste.
