‘Ballad and harmonies on the hips’
This evening showcases an original ensemble combining three reed instruments – oboe, clarinet and bassoon – played by three virtuosos who share a long-standing musical friendship.
Renowned specialists in their respective disciplines, Vincent Tizon, principal oboe of the Cannes National Orchestra and guest performer with some of Europe's leading orchestras, Anne-Lise Clément, clarinettist specialising in contemporary repertoire, and Mathieu Moreaud, principal bassoonist with the French National Police Orchestra and the Lamoureux Orchestra in Paris, find in this chamber ensemble the freedom to interpret a musical journey that showcases classical composers such as Mozart and romantics such as Beethoven, while introducing the modernity embodied by Ange Flégier and Georges Auric, whose trio transports us to the pleasant and carefree Paris of the pre-war years.
Organised by the Grimaud Tourist Office.
