‘In the days of romanticism’
Pianist Théo Fouchenneret, winner of first prize at the prestigious Geneva International Competition in November 2018, ‘Instrumental Soloist Revelation’ at the Victoires de la Musique Classique and winner of first prize and five special prizes at the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition, violinist Boris Blanco, a passionate and curious musician, founder of the ‘Instants de Grasse’ festival and general director of the Chaise-Dieu International Festival, and cellist Caroline Sypniewski, a graduate of the master class of Gautier Capuçon at the Fondation Vuitton and the Mozarteum in Salzburg, named Classical Revelation of the Adami 2017, form an exceptional trio.
During this evening, Théo Fouchenneret's piano will transport us to the tenderly romantic heights of Schumann's ‘Scenes from Childhood’ and, together with his partners, will serve up the lyricism and fascinating intensity of a major work from the repertoire , the Trio in A minor, Opus 50, which Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky dedicated to his friend Nikolai Rubinstein.
Organised by the Grimaud Tourist Office.
