Faire Du Velo A Grimaud 7The Grimaud seaside is served by the coastal cycle route (V65) passing through the communes of Sainte-Maxime, Grimaud, Cogolin and Saint-Tropez.
It’s another way to get around the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, avoiding the heavy road traffic at different times of the year and taking advantage of the beaches along certain sections of the route.

There are several bike hire companies in Grimaud, renting both electric and pedal bikes, so you can ride along the coastal paths and cycle routes.
Want to put in a bit more effort? Set off on your mountain bike – pedal or electric – along accessible roads and paths.
For those who are used to trails, we recommend the trail “La Garde Freinet – Grimaud par les Vernades”. It’s a good 16-km ride along lightly-travelled roads and dirt tracks.
NB: Some of the downhill sections may be daunting for less experienced mountain bikers.

Thanks to the Union Cycliste Plantourianne (UCP), no less than 132 km of tracks and trails have been marked out between Grimaud, Plan-de-la-Tour and La Garde-Freinet.
Beginners and more experienced mountain bikers will enjoy the seven trails with four different levels of difficulty!

La Croix Valmer boasts the “Accueil Vélo” label, making it the ideal destination for cycling enthusiasts.
The town has literally thought of everything to make your life easier, with MTB tracks through the hills, completely safe cycle paths and designated bike parks and repair stations dotted around the area.
