Theatre: Une histoire d’amour

Cultural, Theatre in Sainte-Maxime

From :  13 Full-fare
  • Molière 2020 of the staging of a private theatre show, the new creation of Alexis Michalik makes us laugh and cry by whispering to our ears words of love soft, hard and sensual. The actor-author excels in the art of telling with humour and tenderness a story in tune with the times, troubling. A love story born and broken.

It all begins in music with the famous song of Charles Aznavour, And yet, interpreted in turn at the microphone by the performers. A perfect introduction to this dramatic comedy led drums by Alexis Michalik adept of swirling productions!

Between two changes of scenery in accelerated and a setting in perpetual movements, the replicas fuse justly between the characters caught in the trap of a love break. Of the one who leaves traces and splashes all the protagonists: Katia and Justine, two young women in love and soon mothers; William, the brother, cynical writer for whom fatherhood is not self-evident…

Love, disappearance, betrayal, mourning, abandonment, the whole palette of feelings goes through them to the point of making them touch the bottom. But by dint of confronting each other, of struggling in the throes of misery, of sharing the pain, their energy will be stronger than their distress.

It is difficult to remain insensitive to this well-crafted melody, admirably played and directed by Alexis Michalik, to whom we owe The Bearer of History, Edmond, The Circle of Illusionists or Intramuros. So many successful plays for this actor coveted by theatre, film and television.
