Chronique des mondes incertains

Show: Chronicles of Uncertain Worlds #35

Entertainment/recreation, Show in Sainte-Maxime

From :  9 Full-fare
  • "Art as a state of encounter" is the challenge and promise of this new artistic experimentation. 5 performers in 5 disciplinary fields meet through 5 days of work on stage to deliver, on the morning of the 6th day, an unexpected work: a unique, singular and transdisciplinary performance that will integrate the public into the device.

Because if art is a state of encounter, the "4th wall of the Theatre" traditionally separating the actor from the spectator, fiction from reality, must also waver...

The principle of creation of Chroniques des mondes incertains is at once experimental and participatory, strange and poetic, playful and joyful, innovative and fundamentally humanist. Each performance composes the new episode of a series. Is it the episode or the complete work that is called Chronicles of the Uncertain Worlds? Probably both of them.

With each new episode, each team of performers, each audience assembly come together to tell a fragment of the complete work that is written in real time and in filigree. Chronicles of uncertain worlds questions the foundations of our reality. It explores and confronts the inner universe of 5 artists who will accept, through the artistic gesture, to reveal themselves, to meet, to meet you. Through dance, music, circus, theatre and video, each performer brings with him the story of his intimate relationship with the world. Questioning our reality, it deeply questions our humanity.

The stage of the theater tangue... It becomes boat again, evanescent hull thanks to which we are carried towards new horizons... A drunk boat, of course, preferably... The bleachers rise despite the weight of our bodies, and our seats waver... An act of piracy... Soon we are kidnapped, and with them embarked...
