Fary

Humour : Fary

Cultural, One man Show / One woman show, Comic in Sainte-Maxime
  • "Aime-moi si tu peux"

From stand-up to solo show, Fary has raised his art to the highest level, to the point of being programmed on the centre court of Roland-Garros in Paris in front of 15,000 people! It's an extraordinary experience, but it doesn't stop the comedian from enjoying more intimate settings to perform his latest album Aime moi si tu peux, proof of the renewal of his repertoire.

Fary has more than one string to his bow. The "comedy dandy" has released an EP, Le stand-up m'a tué, which proves his singing talent, and he is also the founder of the Paris comedy club Le Madame Sarfati. So there's talent in abundance, as evidenced by his latest one-man show, in which he tackles the themes of the couple and the deconstruction of the myth of love, two years after his reflection on the question of identity in Hexagone.

It's a new social issue tackled with seriousness, but also with all the humour he's known for, a teasing tone, and a benevolent relationship with the audience. To dissect the intricacies of the feeling of love, he sometimes flirts with false naı̈veté and sometimes with ferocity, and tenderly sinks his fangs into clichés that have a hard edge. With elegance and subtlety, avoiding ready-made images or prejudices. With him, stand-up comedy is almost therapeutic!

It's a brand-new societal issue that's addressed seriously, but also with all the humor he's famous for, a playful tone, and a helpful attitude toward the audience. He occasionally flirts with fake naiveté and occasionally with aggression, and delicately digs his teeth into clichés with a harsh edge in an attempt to examine the nuances of the experience of love. elegantly and subtly, avoiding stereotypes or preconceptions.
