  • Romain Rachline Borgeaud's first original production, Stories, is a musical comedy developed in the heyday of Hollywood film with a series of detailed tableaux, a vintage environment, acting, and tap dance. This multi-talented artist composed the music for the performance, which has a frantic rhythm, frantic tableaux, risky set design, and slam poetry.

The RB Dance Company, under the direction of Romain Rachline Borgeaud, has taken on the task of creating cinema inside cinema, theater within theatre, and now film within comedy. The dancer-actors take turns acting on realistic settings while the narrative is revealed camera-shouldered: Icare, a young actor whose films are popular, is subjected to the controlling power of his director.

He is stuck in the movie that ties him to the director after a disagreement. The play's tug of battle between its hero and the forces that attack, confront, and vanquish him is clear without the need for a subtitle. Stories is an innovative take on the theatrical ballet form that reflects the piece's very metropolitan sounds and opulent image.

Highly evocative ensemble movements combine synchronized dance steps, tap dancing, clockwork precision, and piano notes.

  • The show's distinctive elements include slam poetry, frenetic tableaux, innovative stage design, and high-energy rhythms that are put to music by the multi-talented artist.

The RB Dance Company, under the direction of Romain Rachline Borgeaud, has taken on the task of creating cinema inside cinema, theater within theater, and now film within humor. The dancer-actors play out the story camera-shouldered while immersed in realistic sets: Icare, a young actor whose films are immensely popular, is subjected to his director's repressive influence.

He is stuck in the movie that ties him to the director after a disagreement. The struggle between the play's hero and the forces that attack, confront, and overpower him is clear without the need for a subtitle. Stories continues the dramatic ballet legacy while reinventing it with an urban sound and affluent vision.

Syncopated dance steps, tap dancing, and piano notes are tuned in synchronization with clockwork precision in evocative group motions.
