Concert: Stephan Eicher - HomelessSongs Tour

Entertainment/recreation, Concert, Pop music in Sainte-Maxime

From :  15 Full-fare
  • Seven years after the release of L'Envolée, the hyper creative Stephan Eicher is back on stage with his latest album Homeless Songs and a spectacular form always reinvented.

To accompany him on this voluptuous journey, he chose a quintet of musicians and accomplice writers, Philippe Djian and Martin Suter, hoping, finally, to be able to have lunch in peace!

A discoverer of sounds with insatiable curiosity, Stephan Eicher has been sailing for forty years between acoustic concerts and shows with automatons or a band, between rock and pop-techno, film music and literary concerts.

Today, he writes a letter to his audience in turn in French, English or German, sings love and whispers absence in his ear. If you want me to sing, I’ll open his album, a collection of clean songs, carved titles from which there is infinite sweetness and immense melancholy.

To this album of maturity echoes an out-of-frame concert, not formatted, that it offers to the public as a serene, happy parenthesis; a ballad in the heart of an elegant musical and textual atmosphere that expresses regret and time that passes on the volutes of omnipresent strings, a discreet drums and some notes of piano and banjo too…

Later, in a future project, he will bring out the electric guitars that made his success. Meanwhile the singer-songwriter wished Homeless Songs and its scenic corollary as a precious time to share his new pieces, proposing in our turn to embrace his songs without the shadow of a regret.
