Concert with the brilliant and media-savvy (France Inter, Victoires de la Musique Classique) violinist Marina CHICHE and the equally brilliant and sensitive pianist François DUMONT in a program entitled "Musiciennes de légende". -
It's a great pleasure to welcome and present in Saint-Tropez two musicians of such talent and complicity as violinist Marina CHICHE and pianist François DUMONT. Marina, with her talent for storytelling and oratory, will introduce us to their recital, featuring pieces by Clara Schumann and Lili Boulanger, as well as a sonata by Johannes Brahms and another by Gabriel Fauré.

Revealed to the public at large by the Victoires de la musique classique awards and by her recordings, violinist Marina Chiche pursues an international career, performing as soloist and chamber musician in the most prestigious concert halls: Berlin Philharmonic, Théâtre des Champs Elysées and Beijing National Concert Hall. A versatile artist committed to her times, her book Musiciennes de légende (published by First/Radio France), her lectures and her columns on France Inter help to make classical music accessible to as many people as possible. Marina plays a Giuseppe Gagliano violin from 1762.
François Dumont is a prizewinner at the most prestigious international competitions: the Warsaw Chopin Competition (2010), the Queen Elizabeth Competition, the Monte-Carlo Piano Masters. Nominated at the 2011 Victoires de la Musique awards, he received the Prix de la Révélation de la Critique Musicale Française. He performs at major festivals such as La Chaise-Dieu, Radio-France Montpellier, Piano aux Jacobins, La Roque d'Anthéron, Chopin à Nohant, Sociétés Chopin in Paris and Geneva, Palazzetto Bru Zane in Venice. His discography includes over 35 albums!
